Planned

Shrimp

Future project. A planned 5,000-tonne crop in recirculating water, kept apart from the cages.

  • A later crop, kept apart from the finfish cages.

A different building, a different medium, a later phase.

This is a future project. It is not a current offering.

The plan adds shrimp at 5,000 tonnes in recirculating aquaculture systems: closed water under pumps, filters and sensors, kept biologically apart from the Gulf cages, in a separate building on Dalma.

The figure stored in the desk is a design capacity, not a harvest claim.

The process

How this plant is run, or is planned to run, step by step.

Each step is cultivation work — water, feed, transfer, ice — not a portrait of the company.

Keep shrimp off the cage rings

01

Keep shrimp off the cage rings

Shrimp are a future project, planned in a different building, held apart from Gulf finfish — not an extra net on the sea-cage.

Run recirculating water

02

Run recirculating water

RAS holds a warm-water animal under pumps, filters and sensors. The Gulf does not do this work. The building does.

Husbandry in closed tanks

03

Husbandry in closed tanks

Density, feed and water chemistry would be daily readings, for a different animal on a different schedule.

Watch the biofilter and the sensors

04

Watch the biofilter and the sensors

Closed water fails in hours if the filter or the oxygen drops. This plant is drawn as engineering, not as a pond left to weather.

Grow the later 5,000-tonne crop

05

Grow the later 5,000-tonne crop

The plan stores shrimp at 5,000 tonnes as a future project. That figure is a design capacity, not a harvest.

Prepare them on Dalma

06

Prepare them on Dalma

The island rule still holds: raise the animal here, chill and pack it here, and state the origin as Dalma.

In the chain

The plants, in the order they are planned to work.
