A fertile egg in a conical tank. A larva on rotifers, then brine shrimp. A fingerling on dry pellets. A cage in open water. Water quality as daily labour. A harvest that is killed, bled and iced before it travels.
Today Aquafaq's work is the cage step. The hatchery, feed and processing steps are planned for later phases, after Phase 3. Capacities on the plants page — 40 million juveniles, 60,000 tonnes of feed, 5,000 tonnes at sea, 20,000 tonnes of processing — are design figures.
